I have gambled on countless of rounds of 21. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of money at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first $40 bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
