I have wagered on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the house.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years back with $750 after 45 mins using this method! And a couple of days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of $20
Bet $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
