I have played countless of rounds of blackjack. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of funds at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first five dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
